About
Mostly patience, with a camera attached.
I photograph wild things because they don't perform on command. This collection spans grizzly country in the Canadian Rockies, the plains and coastline of South Africa, the tiger forests of Tadoba in India, and the Galápagos Islands off Ecuador.
Every one of these frames took longer to get than it looks — an hour in a blind waiting for a tiger to surface, a slow approach for a wolf that never quite lost interest in me, a lot of standing still for a leopard to decide I wasn't worth the effort.
The road has also taken me through Myanmar and Portugal, camera pointed at people and places rather than animals — proof the patience travels well beyond wildlife.
If you're planning a trip, need images for a project, or just want to talk gear and long waits in blinds — find me on Instagram or send an email.
